I moved out recently, into a new house with wifey and two more friends which has been amazing. It’s a little smaller, but I have space to myself, and with a new study and places for my books I can make it feel like my own space that I put work into.</p> <p>It takes so much energy to move and unpack. I’m still exhausted and doing it months later, there’s just so much stuff… Almost done though, putting the final things away like my books and hopefully will be setting up VR again soon. I can’t wait to play VTOLVR and H3 again, it’s been a while as even before moving I was going through a reading over gaming phase.</p> <p>It’s also 2 years on HRT next month, which is also huge! I’m so happy I managed to make it this far and that I’ve had all the effects I care for (hopefully still some growing to do however). I started on progesterone a few weeks ago so will wait and see if that has any effects. Crossing fingers!</p> <p>And this blog. Honestly I’ve been pretty happy with how it’s been going, not only have I continued to put out my thoughts on books interesting enough to provoke them, but I’ve started writing too! What literally started with a fever dream has become a small collection of short stories, one that will hopefully keep expanding as I get new ideas.</p> <p>Currently working on some toxic yuri that will also be my first explict story, and hopefully it won’t be too long before that. I’m also planning on re-factoring the blog soon with splitting my writing into its own section and making my media reviews more expansive, should be able to do all that while redirecting from the old links. Here’s to keeping this blog going, and hopefully to a brighter future. Since then it’s been a mix; I found and lost a best friend while finishing uni causing some of the worst mental anguish of my life. However now I also have tits and a bachelors degree so it’s not all bad.</p> <p>I finally launched this blog which feels big, as I’ve been writing these markdown files with the intention of putting them up somewhere since like 2022. Now comes the challenge of actually writing things. Despite having a bunch of projects since finishing uni, none of them feel blog-worthy as they mostly seem to be of projects that already have fairly good documentation; a boombox and cassette repair, updating my phone setup, and replacing buttons in my mouse.</p> <p>I want this blog to be a record of things that have little documentation to maybe help people in the same incredibly specific situation as well as my journey through those uncharted waters, and there just hasn’t been much of that I guess.</p> <p>Hopefully I’ll still have new things though, the reviews are fairly simple: do them when I read an interesting book. I’ll have some interesting tech stuff coming with a weird car repair and hopefully in me finally fixing my 3d printer that I’ve been working on and (mostly) off for the past 2 years, so things to look forwards to.</p> <p>In the meantime, I still have my girlfriend and I’ve managed to make a couple of other friends who hopefully won’t leave me this time. The potential of moving out looms closer on the horizon than ever. It’s also the day I’m starting HRT.</p> <p>So I’m sitting here, with a tablet of estradiol and half a tablet of cyproterone, something that I’ve wanted for so long even before I knew what I wanted.</p> <p>And I finally have it.</p> <p>University’s still going to be a pain, I’m still in the thick of it. But right now, I think everything can be ok.</p> <p>Gonna find some water and down these bad girls, then go annoy my girlfriend and open presents :3</p> <p>Happy birthday me!</p>
